About the Doctor

Dr. Md. Shahinur Rahman Shaoun is one of the experienced pediatric surgeons in Rangpur. He completed his MBBS from Rangpur Medical College and subsequently joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) as a Health Cadre officer.
He later completed his MS in Pediatric Surgery from Bangladesh Medical University (formerly PG Hospital), one of the country’s leading medical institutions. During his professional training, he spent more than five years at PG Hospital, gaining extensive experience in pediatric surgery and the management of various surgical conditions in children.
Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatric Surgery at Rangpur Medical College Hospital. With patience, dedication, and genuine care for his young patients, he provides surgical treatment for a wide range of pediatric conditions.

He sees patients at three chambers regularly: Rangpur, Kurigram and Thakurgaon.
